Studies at the IEA DPC

The IEA DPC selectively supports, on the one hand, international education studies conducted by IEA in all aspects of study implementation, data processing, as well as analysis and reporting. For other international studies the IEA DPC also carries out the study management.

On the other hand, the IEA DPC is also active in studies which particularly take place in Germany and the German-speaking countries.

The latter work may be divided into two categories:

• Studies that are part of a larger international education study (e.g. IGLU, TIMSS, PISA) ? in such projects IEA DPC takes responsibility for all surveying and data processing for Germany. (National field of work)
• Studies that are limited to Germany or to one or more of the German federal states ? in such projects IEA DPC likewise takes responsibility for all surveying and data processing (e. g.  StEG) or alternatively for parts of the above tasks (e. g. PALMA).
